With the continuous improvement of the quality of the pipe joint anti-corrosion, a pipe-filling process with a viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape + polymer protective adhesive tape composite structure has been widely used, and the steps of the visco-elastic anti-corrosion tape pipe joint construction method are provided for sharing. 

Viscous elastic anti-corrosion tape pipe repairing construction method

1. Using the polishing machine to remove the rust method, the surface of the pipe joint is treated to achieve the ST3 requirements specified in the rust grade and rust removal grade of the steel before painting (GB/T8923), keeping the surface dry and without loose floating. Rust and no dirt.

2. The surface temperature of the pipe joint operation should be higher than the dew point by more than 3 °C, and the humidity is < 85%.

3. Select the viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape suitable for the corresponding width of the pipe diameter. The 100mm width is the common specification; the pipe diameter of >DN1000mm or more is also controlled as much as possible; the 200mm wide viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape.

4. The pipe of the prefabricated anti-corrosion layer of the pipe body is wound in the range of 50-100mm in length, and the viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape is wound in one week. The viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape is wrapped at the angle of 10% of the width of the lap tape, and the tension must be maintained. The anti-corrosion tape of the viscoelastic body is pressed while being wound, so that the tape is kept flat and the surface of the pipe body is well sealed. The tip is 50 to 100 mm.

5. After the viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape is wound, first check the winding quality visually, the effect should be smooth, evenly overlapped, no bubbles, wrinkles and damage; after the electric spark leak detection method for leak detection (voltage 15KV-25KV ), qualified as no missing points.

6. The outer protective tape layer: spirally wraps the outer protective tape from one end, maintains a certain tension, and overlaps 50%-55% until the other end, and wraps the outer protective band in the end portion in the end. The visual effect is the same as that of the viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape.
